What AvenaHold is
AvenaHold is a group savings and lending platform for families and friends in Uganda. Members contribute to a shared savings pool via mobile money, track their balance in real time, and can borrow against the pool at interest — repaid in instalments back to the group. It is built on the informal savings group model already widely practised across Uganda.
Who operates it
AvenaHold is a product of Tymzi Hub Ltd, a technology company registered in Uganda. For questions or complaints, contact Tymzi Hub Ltd through the app.
Closed groups
Groups are not open to the public. A person joins a group by sending a request through the app and being approved by the group administrator — the same way informal savings groups have always worked. AvenaHold recommends only adding people you already know and trust personally.
Fees and charges
All applicable fees are disclosed in full in the Terms of Service. There is no subscription fee.
